Dil Sala Sanki Music Review

Almost all the songs in the album are upbeat with a fast tempo. Nakash Aziz opens the album with Dil Sala Sanki Hai, the title song. The song has a fresh rhythm with hip-hop interludes which blend well with the song, for a change. The lazy beat pace will invite you to listen to the song more than once, if you can excuse the lyrics.

Panj Chaske is a usual Punjabi fare and doesn’t really capture your attention. Surkh Wala Love begins with an interesting intro but falls back into a mediocre DJ style music and rhythms that are forgettable. Mousam Beiiman brings the romantic mood to the movie and the album with Shalmali Kholgade crooning this number in a husky voice. However, it is her other song Cham Cham that will lift your spirits as you can feel the energy in the tune and the voice of the singer.

Tu Kahan uses traditional instruments like Tabla and flute along with Javed Ali’s vocals to create a soothing and melodious song but the sudden changes in pace and singers upsets the rhythm a bit.

Movie Recipe Verdict: A decent album with songs that have a potential to grow on you.
