The movie has many new introductions. For one, audiences will see Gru’s twin brother Dru and the movie will put the sibling rivalry at the center of the happenings. But he is not the only one Gru needs to worry about. There is new villain too, an he is bent on the goal of world domination.  of course, Gru cannot let this happen.

The new villain is Balthazar Bratt. A former child artist who has grown up being obsessed with the character he played as a child artist. Why? Because they cancelled his show and hates when people mock him for his 80s appearance. It is up to Dru and the minions to stop his evil intentions. And to help them save the world, Gru and the minions will be joined by Luy Wilde from Despicable Me 2. They are team Grucy!

Despicable Me 3 Reviews

Peter Debruge at Variety says that the movie is good enough to keep you engaged as the jokes fly thick and fast. Pharell Williams’ five tracks too keep the mood upbeat as the two brothers battle it out with Balthazar on the screen. However, Jake Wilson at The Age, Australia thinks that the movie franchise has outlived its novelty in the plot, but that doesn’t necessary mean that you can’t have a few laughs.

Despicable Me 3 trailer, released on 14th December 2016, is full of excitement and begins with a nice hip-hop track. Gru and Balthazar face-off is in focus. But if the trailer is indicative of something, minions may not be a big part of the movie.
