Depression is a black abyss, a bottomless pit that can suck you into a world that is devoid of hope and light. A person in that state needs support, a confidante who can pull them out or stay with them and give words of encouragement and hope. But if words can help, they can also kill. For a person standing on ledge nearly certain of jumping, one word of encouragement to jump or agreement of hopelessness can mean the difference between life and death. Conrad and Michelle Movie Story
Conrad and Michelle movie is based on the true events and follows the two troubled teenagers as they found love and peace in each other’s arms, but only for a little while. The movie begins with the two families vacationing at the same spot. Conrad meets Michelle and his social anxiety withers away as soon as the two begin to connect.
On the verge of suicidal thoughts, Conrad finds strength in Michelle’s words and they fall in love. Michelle dealing with her own problems finds Conrad’s support as helpful and the two bring each other back from the brink. Back home, their love blossoms into a long distance relationship as they stay connected over phone.
However, the dark clouds of depression amass soon and Conrad expresses his desire to kill himself again and confesses to Michelle. And this time, Michelle encourages him to end it forever. She goes a step further and suggests ways to end his life. And tips the balance with the last straw as Conrad ends his life and goes through with the plan they discussed.
Did Michelle do it on purpose? Was she bored of hand holding Conrad? Or was she afraid that his negativity would pull her back into the darkness?
