Rio Olympics begins on Friday, August 5 2016 and will last till Sunday, August 21. With August 21, some will have their dreams come true and some will have resolved to train for the next Olympics. It surely doesn’t get bigger than this. As the best of the best battle it out on the world stage, all eyes will be glued to the TV sets to witness the unimaginable feats of athletes as they create new records. Ektor Pan is a Spanish Singer, Producer, and Composer who shot to fame with Chasing Stars. He gives us a Brazilian theme song with a mix calypso style beats and urges the listeners to move with the beats and experience Brazil.

Jennifer Galss’ Dreamin captures the hopes and dreams of the athletes. She dedicates the song to all the athletes participating in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Rio 2016 Official Theme-Music: Alma e Coração – Thiaguinho and Projota
This is Brazil’s official 2016 SUmmer Olympics song that the committee chose after listening to hundreds of tracks. Ama e Coracao means ‘Soul and Heart’ and is performed by Samba star Thiaguinho with rapper Projota.

Perfect Isn’t Pretty | Gillette
Gillette released its song for the Rio athletes with ‘Perfect isn’t pretty’, which is central to its brand campaign for Olympics 2016. The song is dedicated to grueling training and tough life choices that athletes have to make on their journey to the Olympics stage. The theme is a twist on Sia’s song Unstoppable, which is featured in the video.

All of these tracks are great. Ektor Pan’s music is upbeat and National Geographic video for the Katy Perry number is awesome. I am sure we will see more tracks as the games unfold. Which one do you like the most?
