There is no ending? What with the duck lips from the actress?

edge of your seat thriller.unfortunately an Anti climax ending….How disappointing!

Possible reasons for, interpretations of, the ending:
#1: Bad cops can get away with murder.
#2: Bancroft has deep-seated psychological problems which make her imagine that she is the killer because that is how she solves cases – except that she hasn’t solved this one. Why? — Or has she discovered herself as murderer?
#3: It’s a set-up ending for season two so that the plot twists can continue and finally reveal the truth and we can all go to bed and sleep without nightmares afterwards.
#4: It’s one of three different endings that they had thought of and some suit or other got in the way and picked the one we had to watch.
    #5: Just bad writing.
#6: Sadistic pleasure in the frustration of the audience because of the conundrum finis.
#7: They all fell in love with the ending of the Sopranos and wanted to go in that direction to see what the audience reaction would be, and if it would be strong enough to warrant a second season.
#8: Why should we care? It’s just a TV program.

I watched to the end despite growing more disgusted with developments each minute. The conclusion left a very bad feeling lingering. I’ll try to erase the entire production from my memory. Revolting.

Terrible ending. Made no sense at all. She really thinks she’ll get away with it ? She is completely deluded i! What a shame they spoiled it with this ending.
