Alien Covenant releases in the US and many other countries on May 19 2017, after its initial release in the UK. The overall sixth movie in Ridley Scott’s Alien franchise, the latest film is second in the prequel series. After the first Alien movie and its three sequels, the series took us back to Prometheus in 2012. Alien Covenant is the immediate sequel in the timeline, after Prometheus.

Directed and Produces by Ridley Scott, the story of this installment of the ALien movie is written by Michael Green and Jack Paglen. The movie was manly filmed at Milford Sound, New Zealand. The alien creatures were created by making acrobatic actors wear suits, along with animatronics.

Alien covenant begins 20 years after (2104) where The Prometheus ended. When they receive a human radio message from a nearby planet the captain of the ship decides to visit the planet that seems perfect for colonization. However, all is not like its seems and what appears to be perfect for colonizing, is a dark and dangerous place.

The movie has received above average reviews from the critics who see it more of the same thing. However, the agree that the movie is fast paced and will keep the viewers engaged in the unending twists and turns in the plot. Audiences too are not very excited about the same old story.
