From those that take you into the wilderness to others that focus on arts, everyone gets to watch exciting new games on TV and participate along with the competitors. Summer 2017 is no different. Halfway through, we still have a lot of exciting new Reality TV Shows lined up for August this year.

August is a busy month for Reality TV and Documentary buffs with a number of new and returning shows. Whether you like food, or like to fix things, the August reality TV slate has something for everyone.

Darkness

Darkness on Discovery channel is a groundbreaking next-generation challenge of mental and physical survival, inspired by sensory-deprivation training used by NASA and Special Forces,. Three survivalists will push themselves to their mental and physical limits, trapped inside cave systems, abandoned mines and underground labyrinths for up to six days. They mist work as a team to survive, stay sane and find the exit back to the light.

The Lowe Files

The Lowe Files follows Rob Lowe and his two sons, Matthew and John Owen, as they travel through the country to explore infamous unsolved mysteries.In each episode of The Lowe Files Rob, Matthew, and John Owen seek out a mysterious story or spooky legend and immerse themselves in the exploration and debate of the experience.The nine-episode series premieres on Wednesday, August 2nd at 10pm ET/PT on A&E.

RMD Garage

Ralph Holguin’s RMD Garage fully restores and customizes classic cars into show-stopping, remarkable vehicles that fans across the country crave. Now, Velocity takes viewers inside the automotive restoration side of Holguin’s business in the all new series RMD Garage, where they’ll see imaginative, outstanding creations including a 1958 Chevy Apache Dream Catcher, a 1962 Bel Air Bubbletop, a 1957 Lincoln Continental and many more come to life. The series begins Wednesday, August 2 at 9 PM ET/PT, on Velocity.

90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days

Life of Kylie

The show will follow Jenner as she navigates her unique life as an entrepreneur, fashion designer, author, television star, style icon and CEO/Founder of Kylie Cosmetics. Life of Kylie will document not only how she spends her professional time but also her personal time, including hanging out with close friend Jordyn Woods. The TV show premieres on E! at 9 pm.

Carspotting

Rescue Dog to Super Dog

In Animal Planet’s new series, Rescue Dog to Super Dog, shelter dogs are given a second chance to become a companion to someone in need. Millions of dogs live in shelters in the U.S. waiting for their forever homes. Tens of millions of people in the U.S. live with physical, mental or neurological disabilities

Dog trainers Nate Schoemer and Laura London work hand in paw to train dogs to improve the lives of the people they serve, proving that people may rescue dogs, but dogs rescue people, too. The series premiers on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10 pm on Animal Planet.

Guy’s Family Road Trip

After Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Guy Fieri is sharing that experience with his family as they hit the road for the classic American tradition – a family road trip from sea to shining sea! Guy, his wife Lori, and his sons Hunter and Ryder load up their RV to hit the road on a vacation they will never forget. From rafting in the Grand Canyon to rolling down Route 66, and from creole cooking in New Orleans to pit stops stuffed with campfire feasts, this road trip is full of great food, iconic locations and big adventure! A sneak peek of the premiere episode airs Sunday, August 13th at 10pm ET/PT with the series then airing in its regular day and time beginning Friday August 18th at 9pm ET/PT.

Growing up Supermodel

Lifetime’s all-new family docuseries, Growing Up Super Model (wt), follows a new group of young star models, some just starting out and some already making waves in the industry, risking it all to live up to their famous household names. The series explores universal family themes and life stories through the unique, exclusive access to celebrity families with the second generation pursuing their parents’ success.The series will premier on Lifetime Tuesday August 15 2017, at 10 pm.

Haunted Towns

The Murder of Laci Peterson

The series explores the infamous Scott Peterson trial, the case that destroyed a family, gripped a nation and defined an era, as a vehicle for understanding America’s criminal justice system and the ways in which outside influences can affect that system. The new six-episode, limited documentary series, The Murder of Laci Peterson showcases new interviews with Scott Peterson himself from prison. The Murder of Laci Peterson is set to premiere Tuesday, August 15 at 10PM ET/PT on A&E.

MTV Undressed

MTV Undressed is a one of a kind social experiment that strips away the distractions and superficiality of the digital world. In each episode of this dating experiment, MTV brings together two strangers who must undress each other before getting to know one another for the next thirty minutes, answering questions and performing simple challenges – all designed to test whether or not romance can blossom. At the end, each partner must press a YES/NO button to decide if he or she wants to continue the fledgling relationship or say goodbye. The 16 Episode reality TV show premiers on August 16 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

The Disappearance of
