With more than one celebrity release, August 21-7 Bollywood movies bring audiences both stars and good stories. The month begins with SRK’s Romance-Drama and ends on a high note with Siddharth Malhotra’s Action-Thriller.
Jab Harry Met Sejal
Jab Harry Met Sejal story revolves around Sejal and Harry’s journey across Europe. When Harry decides to help Sejal find her lost engagement ring, he begins to understand love and relationships better. With Harry, Sejal experiences new found freedom, security and solace. And as life moves on for them both, there is love, life, lies, thrill, fantasy and the search for the voice within.
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha
Akshay Kumar romances Bhoomi Pednekar in this unusual tale, which is common across rural India. Keshav is desperate to get married and start a family. However, after his many efforts, when he gets married his wife soon leaves him because of absence sanitation and toilets n the house.
Bareilly ki Barfi
Bareilly Ki Barfi promises to be the surprise package of the month. Starring Raj Kumar Rao, Ayushman Khurana and Kriti Sanon, this seems like the romantic-comedy you must watch. Set in the small town of baraeilly, the movie is about Bitty – a social misfit – and her quest for the author of the book she thinks understands her best.
Haseena Parker
Haseena Parker is the movie for you if you can’t get enough of the Mumbai underworld. The movie will see Shraddha kapoeer in a new avatar as Haseena Parkar, sister of gangster Dawood Ibrahim, and her life.
Babumoshai Bandookbaaz
Nawazuddin never seizes to surprise and entertain his fans. After last year’s Raman Raghav 2.0, he will be once again seen in a negative character as an assassin for hire in Babumoshai Bandookbaaz that promises to bring something new for the viewers in August 2017.
Shubh Managal Saavdhan
Ayushman Khurana and Bhumi Pednekar get together again in this romantic tale after their huge success with Dum Laga Ke Haisha. The movie once again focuses of social issues as the two decide to get married. However, the bride and groom find out about the little ED problem of the groom, threatning to end their marriage.
A Gentleman
Romance, Dram, and social stories of August 2017 Bollywood releases culminate in a thriller starring Siddharth Malhotra. Gaurav comes across as a ‘gentleman’ and is the man of choice for kavya’s family who is trying to wed her off. However, Kavya wants her man to be slightly more exciting. If only she new how exciting life can get for her and Gaurav when they travel to Mumabai.
