In a spate of flop supernatural comedies in the past six months, Bollywood seems to throw up a real supernatural movie with Mona Darling. Starring Sanjay Suri and Suzanna Mukherjee, the film is a murder mystery and thriller set on a college campus in India. Bollywood and Hindi movie audiences rarely get to watch Horror-Thrillers movies and it should be a welcoming change for those who like to have a hair raising experience in the cinema halls. Mona Darling movie is scheduled to release on 24th Feb 2017 and should be a treat fro Horror movie fans.`

Written and Directed by Sashi Sudigala, the movie brings a lot of fresh faces and a unique story that is set in contemporary India. The music for the movie is composed by Manish J. Tipu who had also composed for Phas Gaye Re Obama.

Mona Darling Movie Story
The people behind the movie are tight-lipped about the story and there is not a lot out there. However, here’s what we think is happening in the movie. The story of Mona Darling revolves around Mona, of course. Mona is a bubbly, independent girl enjoying the fun college years. She hooks up with the guy the whole college is crazy about. However, their romance is captured on camera and uploaded to Youtube. Mona feels devastated by this as her trust is shattered and so is her privacy. The character assassination of the young girl further exacerbates her problems as boys begin to circulate rumors about her.
Soon the college is engulfed by shadow of death as one-by-one four students are found dead and Mona is missing. The investigation team headed by Sanjay Suri find out that each of the students had received a Friend Request from an account named Mona_Darling, which apparently belongs to Mona.
To get to the bottom of the mystery, two of Mona’s college mates decide to carry out their own investigations when they realize that things are not as simple as they seem. Unexplained appearances of Mona and events force them to think beyond the physical world.
The question is, is Mona in hiding and orchestrating this to take revenge or has Mona committed suicide and it is her ghost that is on the prowl to avenge the wrong done to her.
