Running Shaadi Music Review
Running Shaadi songs add to the topic of the movie with funny lyrics and fast tunes. While these make complete sense in the movie halls, it is unlikely that you will listen to the songs out of context. Compositions by Abhishek, Akshay and Mannerless Majnu mix the folksy tunes with western instruments well. Sukanya Pukayastha’s vocals add to the feel as she sings the song in the right spirit and reminds you of Rekha Bharadwaj.
Anupam Roy gives you the romantic numbers of the movie and can go on your easy-listening playlists. The song combines sounds of Santoor and guitar well to create a melodious harmony that gives the song a calm feel.
Keegan Pinto gives you a fusion Rock and Indian song that you will like in Bhaag Milky, but does not have the lyrics or context that will compel to go back to the song.
MovieRecipe Verdict: Music seems right for the movie, but does not give you an album you can listen to out of context.
MovieRecipe Picks: Main Faraar Sa
