Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai Music Review
The album sticks to western influences and instruments for most of the songs. The compositions are the kind you will not mind playing when you want to hang your feet up and listen to something that will put you in a relaxed mood. Although the album starts on poor note with its title song that almost feels out of tune with the vocals, stick to the album and you will not be disheartened.
Qubool Hai is a fast jazz composition and the only peppy song in the album and has enough zest to make you want to get to the dance floor. The mouth organ interludes give the song a fresh feel and can make its way to your ‘Pick me up’ playlist. Ankit Tiwari’s vocals add to the symphonic composition of Mujhko Tere Ishq Me Bhigaade by Harry Anand and will definitely will make it to the Romantic songs list of 2017. Sochti Hoon takes the mood forward with another similar composition.
Overall, the album is a good combination of a couple of romantics numbers and songs with philosophical lyrics that go with the movie’s topic. Kagaz Si Hai Zindagi is an extension of the title song and Uvie singer’s pain in vocals adds and makes the composition somewhat better, until you hear “Google pe dhoodega tujhko zama” that sounds too funny and kills the overall mood of the song.
MovieRecipe Verdict: An average album with relaxing tunes that you will want to listen more than once.
MovieRecipe Picks: Qubool Hai, Mujhko Tere Ishq Me Bhigaade
