With kohl in his eyes and swagger of a gangster, Shahrukh Khan is all set to wow you with his gangster performance in Raees releasing on 25th January 2017. Ban anything and you have opened a new black market and a prime business opportunity. Raees, for a change, is set in Gujarat instead of Mumbai and shows a long fight between a policeman and a liquor smuggler, a smuggler who believes – “Koi dhanda chota nahi hota, aur dhande se bada koi dharam nahi hota”. Raees Movie Story
Set around the 1980s Gujrat riots, Raees movie story follows two main characters. Raees Alam, a bootlegger and a crime lord to whom the only things that matters is business and money. When his empire is challenged by Chatak Majbudar, the gangster decides to go big and forms a state wide network to be big enough to influence the politicians and the system. A confident Raees Alam is seen quoting that he is invincible as “Baniye ka Dimag aur Miyanbhai ki daring” is a combination that no one can defeat.
SRK has played negative roles before, but this will be the first time the actor will be seen in a role of a gangster. He has a tough competition from Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who play the role of the policeman pursuing him in the movie.
Raees Movie Review
Raees follows a standard story arc and you have SRK’s character that is strong and vulnerable at the same time. You have a romantic Raees who comes in the movie every now and then and there is a wily Raees who excels at finding a way out and fooling the law every time. The first half of the movie mostly follows the trajectory of the bootlegger growing up and setting up his business. Punch lines were one of the strongest points that created a buzz for the movie. However, they are often mistimed and fail to make an impact.
On the bright side, the story moves along at a nice pace and short songs ensure that you don’t get bored. The writer and director gets ambitions in the second part and introduces too many things and tries to say too much. In setting up Raees as a likable antagonist, the movie derails a bit in the second half as he takes the savior of the oppressed route.
Raees Oneline Review: Overall, the movie is an above average entertainer with bit of everything for everyone. Nawazuddin shines and steals the show.

Raees Box Office Collection
Raees opened to packed halls on 25th January and touched Rs 20 crore on its opening day. Thursday is a holiday and despite mixed reviews, the movie is set to continue its booming collection record. Analysts predict that if the momentum continues, the long five-day weekend will ensure Raees a place in the 100 Crore club before the end of a week.
रईस फिल्म की कहानी
रईस ये कहानी है रईस आलम की. गुजरात के फतेहपुर में रहने वाले एक बच्चे की जो बचपन से ही काम करने लगा एक शराब बेचने वाले के लिए. लेकिन उसने हमेशा अपनी अम्मी की बात याद राखी. “कोई काम चोट नहीं होता, और धंदे से बड़ा कोई धर्म नहीं होता” मगर तब तक, जब तक उस काम से किसी का नुक्सान न हो.
जैसे जैसे रईस बड़ा होता है, वोह अपने पुराने बॉस को छोड़कर अपना खुद का शराब बेचने का काम शुरू करता है. इस दौरान उसे पोलिस से बचना पड़ता है और उसके पुराने बॉस से भी जो उसके जान के पीछे पद जाता है. इसी बीच फतेहपुर में तबादला होता है एक ईमानदार अफसर का. मजबूदार (नवाजुद्दीन सिद्दीकी ) जो रईस को पकड़ने की ठान लेता है.
आगे की कहानी इन दोनों के चोर-पुलिस के खेल की है. इंटरवल के बाद की कहानी में रईस पकड़ा जाता है, जिसमे उसके दुश्मन और स्थानीय नेताओं का हाथ होता है. लेकिन वह जेल में रहकर इलेक्शन जीत जाता है और लोगों के लिए काम कारन शुरू करता है. कही यह हमें भारी न पड़ जाए ये सोज कर, नेता उसके हर अच्छे काम मि अड़ंगा डालते और उसे न चाहते हुए फिर गलत काम करने पर मजबूर कर देते है. उसकी अच्छाई उससे अनजाने में कुछ ऐसा काम करवाती है जिससे वोह टूट जाता है और अपने आप को दोषी मानता है.
क्या रईस अपने आप को पोलिस के हवाले कर देगा? क्या उसे न्याय मिलेगा?

रईस फिल्म ज्यादातर वक्त के लिए देखने वालो का ध्यान बनाये रखती है. डांस, एक्शन, और थोड़ी सी कॉमेडी, यह फिल्म सब कुछ बराबर संभालती है और एक बॉलीवुड मसल फिल्म है. रईस दूर भाग मु तोसि कमजोर पद जाती हैऔर ऐसा लगता है की यह कहानी कुछ ज्यादा ही बाते एक फिल्म में ऑडियंस तक पोहचाने की कोशिश कर रही है. शाहरुख़ खान का काम उनके बाकी की फिल्मो की तरह अच्छा ही है. लेकिन नवाज़ुद्दीन इस फिल्म में बाज़ी मार जाते है. हमारी राय में यह फिल्म एक अबोवे एवरेज एंटरटेनर है और सारा परिवार इस एक साथ एन्जॉय कर सकता है.
