Shivaay Music Review
The eclectic album combines various music styles to give a mix of dance and romantic numbers. Fusion music is the flavor of of the album, if you want to label the soundtrack in minimum words. The album opens with an ode to lord Shiva and describes the characteristics of this Lord of Dance and of destruction. The track combines Hymns with fast-paced Dance rhythms that effectively captures the fury often associated with this Hindu God.
Arijit Singh is in his element as he sings Darkhaast and does not disappoint his fans. The Rock style music complements his singing style and he ensures that the song sounds melodious. Lyrics by Sayeed Quadri complete the song and makes it one of the best songs since Rustom songs.
Jasleen Royal sings Raatein written by Aditya Sharma well and in the right tone as she lends her voice to Olga (Erika Kaar) in the movie. The reprise version is a bit slower than the original track.
