Candy Cane Candidate follows Julia as she returns to her hometown to nurse her loss but faces another tough competition instead.
Julia is a natural leader and very passionate in what she believes. Her recent run for a city council seat has kept her busy for sometime. When the campaign ends in a landslide loss, Julia returns home to lick her wounds and regroup.
But along with the warmth of the town and the yuletide spirit, it also reminds her of Parker, her high school rival she lost to. When an emergency Mayor election is scheduled, the two once again find themselves facing off.
But as Julia and Parker campaign their way through the Christmas season and plan a toy drive together, Julia begins to see a different side of Parker, and the ice between them slowly begins to thaw. As their political race comes to a head, Julia and Parker discover winning isn’t everything.
