The movie follows Celeste, whose life became the dream she never dreamed of, but her gluttony drove her to being incarcerated for life.
Steven Beard, a self-made media professional and millionaire was a seventy year old widower. Lonely and bored, Steven loved his drink at the local country club in Austin, Texas. There he met Celeste who served him a drink every day. Caring and upbeat, Celeste and Steven soon formed a bond.
Steven then proposed Celeste and married her. Celeste’s and her two teenage daughters’ life changed overnight as they moved into a huge Texas mansion, had cars, luxury and everything they ever dreamed of. But that was not enough for Celeste.
She wanted more. Stole Stevens’ ex-wife’s jewelry, went overboard spending his money but still got her husbands support against his family’s wishes.
Then one night in October, an intruder came into his bedroom and shot him point blank in the chest.
Did Celeste put out a hit to kill her husband? Did she do it for the money? Or did her girlfriend do it for her love?
