What is Lifetime Movie Memories of a Murder About?
Memories of a Murder follows Gail Niven as she uncovers a dark secret about her family that pushes her to the brink of embracing that darkness herself.
Gail Niven runs a controversial murderabilia shop owned by her grandmother Margot Niven. Gain has often had a difficult time in the town and is considered an outsider. Economically backward and being part of a strange family has also not helped her making any meaningful connections in the town.
Her long dream and plan is to escape to college with her one friend Alexa, if she can convince her grandmother. When a string of murders occur in town, people get suspicious of Gail and her store attracts unwanted attention from detective Janice Roselan and local police.
But when Gail receives a mysterious call that promises to unlock clues to the murders, Gail decides to pursue. However, her hunt leads to uncovering her own family secrets and she ends up meeting her serial killer father Stubbs. She presses her grandmother for truth and finds out she has a half sister somewhere.
As detective Janice closes in on the case, Gail offers the clues she has about the murders to take suspicion away from her.
But Janice is not who Gail thinks she is and must embrace the darkness she has kept at bay to survive an evil plot.
