The Mosquito Coast series follows Allie Fox, a brilliant inventor, who decides to relocate to Mexico on the run from the US government.
Allie Fox is a brilliant man who dropped out of school and took to getting education in the unstructured world. With many patents to his name, Allie can find a solution to any problem. But there is a new problem he cannot wiggle his way out of.
An idealist, Allie believes his country is going the wrong way and is headed into a certain disaster. He also strongly believes that the US government is after him and decides to take his family to Mexico away from his homeland.
The series tracks the family’s adventurous and sometime life-threatening journey into the wilderness of Mexico as they struggle to start a new life there trying to hide from the authorities.
