Color of Love movie follows Monica Henderson who goes against common beliefs and her blood relations to redefine a family.
Monica Henderson is an African-American widow with two kids of her own. But she understands what it means to be without parents and a home to go back to. Her heart is full of love and she has enough room in her heart to bring in foster kids in her small family and give the all that she can.
When she finds out that Peter and Rachel, once her foster kids are now without a family and are facing the spectre of falling through the cracks in the foster system, she decides to do something about it.
While her mother and her boyfriend advise her not to go ahead and adopt Peter and Rachel, she refuses to let the color of their skin become a wall of separation that devoid them of a family. Will that be a smart choice or is it a stupid mistake to believe that a family is more than just blood and race.
