The Irregulars series on Netflix brings back the legendary Sherlock Holmes to screen. But this time it is not what the puritans would like very much. The new show has a paranormal twist with a lead cast of teenagers from the streets of London who assist him in solving some mysterious cases. What is the Netflix The Irregulars series About?
The Irregulars series follows a group of teenagers who are engaged by Dr. John Watson to assist mysterious murders in London.
Doctor Watson gets in touch with a group of teenagers because something isn’t right in London and he ropes them into investigating a series of supernatural crimes which are both horrific and mysterious. The more they investigate, the more they realize there are things afoot that are shocking, disturbing and emotionally very relevant for them.
Our Gang of teenagers includes Beatrice and Jessica and they’re sisters. Bea is fierce, a natural leader and very stoic and Jessie is a bit of a space cadet, she’s very emotional and overt.
They are joined by Spike who would prefer to just use his natural charm to help his friends and strengthen their bonds. Bur soon, Spike discovers he can also be courageous when any one of them, especially Jessie, is in mortal danger.
Leo or Prince Leopold has escaped from his cloistered life in the royal palace – because he’s a hemophiliac. The 17-year-old would rather live as the more down to earth Leo in London, and not just because he’s in love with Bea.
Billy completes our love triangle and has carried a torch for Bea since they met as children in the workhouse, and he really doesn’t like it when fancy newcomer Leo catches her eye instead.
As the crimes take on a horrifying supernatural edge and a dark power emerges, it’ll be up to the Irregulars to come together to save not only London but the entire world.
