In Batwoman Season 2 the story moves forward and Kate’s life is about to change with her secret out. Batwoman Series premiered on The CW in Fall of 2019. The TV Show follows Kate Kane who becomes part of The Crows, a private security that now protect Gotham in absence of a police force.
What happens in Batwoman Season 2?
In Batwoman Season 2 Ryan Wilder discovers Kate Kane’s Batsuit. Kate has no idea how drastically her life is about to change. A sassy, smart lesbian with a difficult past, Ryan sees the suit as her chance to finally be powerful and no longer a victim as she survives in the tough streets of the city.
While Ryan goes rogue in the shadows, Gotham grapples with their missing hero, believing Batwoman has fled the city after a public stand-off with Commander Jacob Kane and the Crows.
But Kate Kane’s disappearance hits hardest at home where Jacob, Sophie, Luke, Mary and even Alice each struggle with the devastating news in their own way.
Meanwhile, the False Face Society tightens its grip on Gotham distributing a perilous new drug known as Snakebite, “Bruce Wayne” finds his way home to wreak havoc, Safiyah surfaces with plans for revenge, and a new set of villains descends on the city.
As chaos and uncertainly proliferate, Ryan realizes how much the symbol on the suit means to Gotham, launching her on a personal journey that takes her from fledgling substitute to confident caped crusader, from living in her van with her plant to chasing villains in the Batmobile. Ryan Wilder becomes a very different Batwoman than Kate Kane – her own Batwoman – but with the same understanding of what it means to be a hero.

Season 2 Episode 1 – GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN
Kate’s friends and family hold on to hope that Kate may still be found, a homeless 25-year-old named Ryan Wilder stumbles upon Kate’s Batsuit. Focused on no longer being a victim, Ryan takes the suit to use as armor and goes rogue in the streets of Gotham, taking out various members of a new gang called the False Face Society.
Meanwhile, both Jacob Kane and Luke Fox launch searches for Kate, Mary Hamilton grapples with losing yet another family member, Sophie Moore struggles with things left unsaid to her first love, and Alice is furious that someone got to Kate before she could exact her revenge.
At the same time, “Bruce Wayne” (guest star Warren Christie) returns under the pretense of searching for Kate, but the truth is he wants his suit back and it becomes the clash of imposters as “Batwoman” and “Bruce” square off in the action-packed season premiere.
Season 2 Episode 2 – DOWNRIGHT BATTY
After her quick spin in the Batgear, Ryan Wilder is back to facing the daily challenges of life as herself. Meanwhile, Alice has a new, devious plan to get the attention of both Gotham and Safiyah (guest star Shivaani Ghai).
With Kate still missing and the city in an uprising, Luke and Mary are desperate to find a stand in. In a pinch, Ryan dons the suit again and comes face-to-face with Alice for the first time.
Back at Crows Headquarters, Sophie and Commander Kane try to uncover who may have had a vendetta against Kate.
