Story of new Hindi serial Meri Gudiya revolves around and child Avi as she finds a unique way to make peace with a devastating loss.
Avi Gujral lives a peaceful and happy family life in the beautiful environs of Shimla, among their ancestral coffee plantation business. With her mother and father by her side, there is nothing more she wants in her life.
Her parents love her equally and Avi is the center of their world. Their unconditional love for each other is apparent int their daily lives. Avi too loves her mother and is always by her knee.
But when Madhuri, Avi’s mother, suddenly dies in a car accident, Avi is devastated. All she now has are some fading memories and a doll that her mother gifted her.
As Avi hangs on to the doll, the doll too displays an undying affection for her. The question is, if it is just another doll or has Madhuri’s undying affection for Avi resulted in something that can transcendental?
