Marjavaan Music Review
Marjavaan movie album comes with seven songs including a reprise version of the title song. The title song is composed Payal Dev. The melodious track is sung well by Jubin Nautiyal in his style and his fans will not be disappointed. Kunal Vermaa words are given a pop Ghazal style of music and this can be a track that goes on your more contemplative mood playlist.
With mostly remixes crowding the album the other original track is sung by Arijit Singh with Bagchi composing the song. And although the melody is pleasing it fails to capture you like the title song.
Moving on to the remixes. Bagchi has become a master of mixing songs and giving a new life to the 90s tracks that already have a huge and eager audience.
Kinna Sona is another remix composed by Meet Bros and uses the traditional Kinna sona mukhada with a different antara and does not impress much. Not a track that you will add to your 2019 playlist.
As remixes go, Ek Toh Kum Zindagani is as catchy as its original and you are better off listening to this track than Kinna Sona. However, we cannot say the same of the Chahe Meri Jaan Tu Le Le remix. Bagchi’s version seems to attempt to make it more sultry but in that manages to kill the energy of the original Laxmikant-Pyarelal composition. Neither does it achieve its objective to make it groovy.
MovieRecipe Verdict: Most songs and remixes are bearable and you won’t mind these songs on your extended playlist.
MovieRecipe Pick: Tum Hi Aana
