If you are teenager, you think it is only natural to not like rules and regulations, or have parents breathing down your necks. But living in a world that has no rules of conduct and no one to turn to may not be that easy. The Society series on Netflix brings a fantasy drama that outs a group of teenagers in this exact situation to fend for themselves.

Loosely based on the award winning novel The Lord of the Flies, the new fantasy series is created by Christopher Keyser. Gideon Adlon and Sean Berdy star in the series that premieres on May 10 2019, with ten episodes.

The Society Series Plot
The Society series follows a group of teenagers as they struggle to form alliances and get out of a tough situation. The series takes us to a small town of West Ham, Connecticut where the residents are suffering from an unknown source of bad smell. As the powers that be are trying to fix the problem, we find a bunch of teenagers magically transported to a mirror image of their town.
Only, this town does not have an of the people that they left behind, including their parents. That seems like the best thing to happen to them and they run crazy doing what teenagers love to do – Party!
But they soon realize that there is something wrong with their current situation as they are unable to contact the outside world and must also restore order. The series then follows this group of high schoolers as they weigh in on the questions of power, immorality, and individual vs. collective good and build a new society from scratch.
