Jennifer Kaytin Robinson captures the pulse of the millennial generation as the writer and director of the new movie. The creator of MTV’s Sweet/Vicious casts Gina Robdriguez of Jane the Virgin in the lead role with Lakeith Stanfield in the movie that releases on April 19 2019.

Someone Great Netflix Movie Plot
Someone Great movie follows Jenny as she enlists her friends’s help to cut the trailing strings of her broken relationship and start a new life. A journalist, Jenny must move across the country from New York to San Francisco for a new job.
But it is not easy as her romantic relationship is now at stakes. Her long term boyfriend is not too happy with her decision. The two have come a long way in their nine year relationship that started in college and was followed keenly on social channels by friends and relatives over the years.
But the two have gone from being lovesick teenagers confessing their love on social channels to celebrating every little event publicly to their relationship lows.
But Lakeith has made a decision that he would rather not be in a long-distance relationship. Jenny has accepted this truth and decides to have one last hurrah in the city with her friends and live her new reality rather than sulk over what could be, in this modern romantic tale.
