Uri movie story revolves around special forces commander in chief essayed by Vicky Kaushal. The special forces team is roped in to send a strong message to the enemy that takes the country for granted and believes it will always to the defensive line.
In the aftermath of a horrific attack on the Indian Army camp in Uri, the army has takes a decision to eliminate the launch pads and terror camps establish in POK with help of Pakistan. The responsibility to analyse current intelligence inputs an plan an assault is given to the character played by Yami Gautam.
The movie paints the deliberations that went in before making the decision and the tense mission as the special forces attack and destroy the terror camps in the border area.
