In its third season now, Riverdale has managed to keep the mystery going and the challenges mounting. The second season ended with Fred ready for the polls and Archie by his side. The character stories have advanced steadily and the fun loving Archie characters in the new dark world have been as iconic as the comic. In Riverdale Season 3 we get to meet more of Jughead’s family as his mother and sister make an appearance halfway through the season.

Riverdale Season 3 Plot
Riverdale series follows the residents of Riverdale that include all the characters of the Archie comics. In a dark and twisted portrayal of the characters, the drama has taken you on a rollers coaster ride in season 1 and season 2. Riverdale season 2 ended with Archie Andrews was framed by Hiram Lodge for the murder of a Shadow Lake resident named Cassidy.
In Riverdale Season 3, legal troubles for Archie increase, with the DA looking to score a win. The savvy, eloquent Ms. Wright is the prosecuting attorney in charge of handling Archie’s case. With a conviction in mind, she will weave together disparate moments of Archie’s young life to portray him as a dangerous, violent sociopath who is capable of committing a heinous crime, with his freedom hanging in the balance.
Elsewhere, will learn a little bit more about Jughead’s family in season three, as his mother and sister shake things up with their own sneaky behavior. Gladys Jones, a “businesswoman” who runs a chop shop that doubles as a Serpent compound, and the Serpents all snap to attention when she gives them an order. A Serpent with a GED, she acts as Fagin to a crew of teenaged car parts thieves.
Jellybean “JB” Jones, Jughead’s sister, is wise beyond her years. She lives with her biker mom in Toledo where they run scams to make ends meet. And like mother, JB is quite the little con artist herself.

Season 3 Episode 1
As the jury begins deliberations in his murder trial, Archie makes a astonishing request about how he wants to spend his final days of summer. Betty has to deal with her problems head-on after an aggressive confrontation with Alice and Polly brings up some hidden dark secrets. Veronica asks Hiram to step in and help Archie before a verdict. Finally, Jughead leads Serpents against Ghoulies’ latest attack.

After a teriible discovery is made in the forest, Jughead and Betty work together to investigate Riverdale’s latest mystery. As Archie fends in his new surroundings, Veronica plans to bring a bit of home to him. Elsewhere, when Moose wants to join the RROTC, Kevin worries he may be pulling away from him.
Season 3 Episode 3
When a series of suspicious hurdles threaten to delay the opening of the speakeasy, Veronica enlists the help of Cheryl, Toni, Reggie, Kevin and Josie to make sure opening night goes off without a hitch. Elsewhere, Betty and Jughead follow different leads to find out about the suspicious events going on in the town. Finally, some unwanted attention forces Archie to make a difficult decision about his future.
