Parenting is always a challenge in any era, but in today’s world you don’t only have to worry about the kids who see unruly and misbehave in front of you, but also those who do not see or exist for you. Keeping tabs on kids is not as easy anymore as it was a couple of decades ago. Their online lives are real and complex as their real ones and it is almost impossible for a parent to really know what their kids are up to. Searching movie follows a single dad who takes upon himself to find his missing daughter, in this abduction thriller.

Searching Movie Plot
Searching movie plot revolves around single dad, Davind, a non-nonsense detective Vick, and David’s daughter Margot. David is a hardworking single dad and loves his daughter. But there is a lot he does not know about her too. When Margot suddenly disappears one day, everyone including detective Vick are baffled by her disappearance.
When 37 hours of investigation do not yield any clues about Margot’s whereabouts, or no ransom demands are made, David turns to one place where today’s teenager’s world revolves. David picks up Margot’s laptop and starts to slowly build her digital world through videos, photos, social media updates and chats to find out what happened to Margot.
