The first season released in 2017 went on to become a runaway hit for AT&T’s Audience Network. The series is based on Stephan King’s detective novels that follow Bill Hodges and his arch nemesis Hartsfield. Mr Mercedes Season 2 picks up a year later with Bill Hodges trying to overcome his Hartsfield obsession and start a new detective agency.

Brendan Gleeson returns in his role as Bill Hidges in the second season adapted by David E. Kelly. Jack Bender of Game of Thrones directs the second season which come with 10 hour long episodes and premieres in August.

Mr Mercedes Season 2 Plot
In Mr Mercedes Season 2 we find detective Bill Hodges trying to put behind the Ohio tragedy and begin a new life. It has been a year since Hartsfield’s last attempt to commit mass murder is stopped. Detective Hodges is retired and Hartsfield is in a hospital in a vegetative state.
With Hodges and Gibney trying to start their detective agency Finder’s Keepers, life seems to return to normalcy for Hodges. However, when staff members at Hartsfield’s hospital begin to experience explainable incidents, Hodges is pulled back in the Brady vortex and he can’t shake the feeling that Brady is somehow responsible.
Will Hodges be able to prove that Brady, even in vegetative state is capable of influencing mind control over people he come in contact with and make them do things he wants? Or is there a simple explanation to all of the bizarre events and Hodges is just too obsessed with Brady?
