Safe series on Netflix revolves around Tom and his two teenage daughters as they start a new life in a gated community after the death of their mother because of cancer. Life is pleasant and the community members come across as friendly folks. However, there are skeletons on everyone’s closet and there are secrets.
Things sour when Toms older daughter suddenly disappears. Looking into the lives of people around him, he realizes there is not a lot he really knows about them. Helping him is detective Sophie who too is a single mother and raising two kids.
Tom is trying hard to deal with the loss of his wife, but there is also a deep rooted guilt that his eating him up from the inside. Guilt that is connected with the events of the night his wife died. Is that secret connected to his daughter’s disappearance? The series gradually opens the can of worms that puts the family on a path that threatens them as well as the community they live in.

Safe Series Netflix Review
Safe series begins with a brief introduction to the sterile world that Jenny lives in with her sister and father. However, there are a lot of undercurrents to her relationship with her father and it is obvious that she blames her father for what happened.
By the end of the first episode, Jenny goes missing and you are hooked to the story.
It takes absolutely no time moving forward and a body soon falls.
Being a British production it has a slightly different touch than US mystery series and may feel a little off if you are not used to seeing British dramas.
But overall the series gives you enough reasons to stick to the mystery and wonder what realy happened on the night of sia’s party.
