Counterpart TV Show Reviews
The pilot introduces the audiences to the mystery just enough and leaves many questions unanswered. J. K. Simmons’ performs both avatars quite well, but the pace of the series might just pull down the hyper audience who binges on fast action.
The depiction that both Howards share the same childhood memories, but have a different present and personality, tries to portray that our lives take a different trajectory based on the crucial decisions that we make as independent self.
The audiences have nothing but glowing comments for the pilot episode of the Counterpart TV series and seem to have made up their mind about watching this one when it begin in January. J.K. Simmons features most in the pilot and keeps you married to the screen for the entire episode. That it ends on a big reveal is cliffhanger enough to wait for the series to resume in January 2018.
