Murder With Peacocks Book Review
Donna Andrews excels at writing a fast paced narrative that keeps you turning pages. Some elements I have come to love in the Meg Langslow series are the myriad family characters, life on the Virginia coast and in small southern towns where everyone knows each other, teas and picnics and potlucks with loads of food, the interesting animals or birds that are the theme for every book, and a good mystery at the heart of it all.
If you’ve ever visited the charming East coast of Virginia, or Williamsburg or Charlottesville, a lot of these books and the imagery in them will be very familiar to you. Meg Langslow gets two thumbs up from me. Stay tuned for my reviews of more books from this series.
