The Legend of Michael Mishra is scheduled to release on 5th August. The movie is a comedy with romance at its core. The few glimpses and trailers suggest that audiences are in for a Ishqiya style rustic comedy, which I am sure will be boosted by presence fo Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani. Check out the music review and tell us what you think of the soundtrack.
The songs of Legend of Michael Mishra are as quirky as the movie must be. The folksy touch to the music with some electronic sounds remind of the music of Laal Rang that was different but addictive. The album doesn’t have a solo music director and the movie has roped in tracks from artists like Meet Brothers and Abhinav Bansal.

The Legend of Michael Mishra Music Review
Luv Letter is an upbeat, folksy track that will have you tapping your feet to the beats. Kanika Kapoor sings the song in the right mood with a matching attitude and you can get the perfect picture of the character in the song. Kumaar once again proves he is one of the best song writers in Bollywood these days.
Nikhatoo could fit right in the movie, but is not a track that you will listen to otherwise. That doesn’t mean that there is something wrong with the composition, it just isn’t the right track to listen to out of context. However, the same can’t be said about Ishq Di Gadi. Ishq Di gaadi extends the tempo of Luv Letter and stays on the folk song train. Although quirky, it is the kind of song you will want to hear again because it is that different and catchy. Fusion lovers will like this composition as Ujjwal and Nikhil mix traditional instruments with modern sounds in a peppy track.
Phir Tu is a composition that is quite different from the routine, but I don’t think it is something that will get the listeners excited about or get them singing the tune. This is also one of the songs that you think don’t fit into the overall tone of the album.
MovieRecipe Picks: Ishq Di Gaadi, Luv Letter
MovieRecipe Verdict: A fun soundtrack that will catch your attention but will not make it to your music shelf.
