Rome in Love Hallmark Movie Plot
Rome in Love follows Amelia Tate a mostly unknown actress and an Italian magazine reporter as he is tasked to follow her during a shoot in Rome.
When Amelia gets a role in a movie, her world is immediately turned upside down. She is flown to Rome and ensconced in the world-famous Hassler Hotel atop the Spanish Steps. She is fitted for a whole new wardrobe, trained to drive a Vespa, and to waltz, all for the film.
Amelia is reluctant to give up her privacy for the story but agrees to let Philip accompany her as she sees the sights and visits all the important landmarks in the Eternal City. Soon, she begins to trust Philip and a friendship emerges.
When Philip’s story gets published without his knowledge – and without Amelia seeing it first – she becomes an overnight celebrity in Rome, and feels betrayed by Philip. But when Kathryn arrives in Rome to surprise her sister, Amelia begins to look at the story about her in a different light, and her anger towards Philip softens.
But will this be enough? Are Amelia and Philip destined to go their separate ways after a summer of romance or is their another way for them to work it out? This is Rome, after all, and anything can happen.
