It is difficult to make anything with aliens and space exploration uninteresting to sci-fi fans. And Another Life series on Netflix, though not as compelling as Stranger Things does enough to give some thrills. In what could be termed as Independence Day meets A Space Odyssey, the movie takes you on a mission to find new worlds.

Another Life Plot
Another Life series on Netflix follows astronaut Niko Breckenridge as she embarks on a search mission into the space. The series hooks on the audience immediately with an alien ship hovering over earth and a mysterious, impenetrable egg landing on earth.
With no clue about what it is and how to establish communication with its inhabitants, Niko and her crew is sent on a mission to find out the origins of this ship. But this comes with its own set of problems.
Set back by failed earlier mission where Niko also lost the love of her life, she must earn back the respect of her crew and work hard to establish her leadership.
Her problems of a mutinous crew are compounded when one of the astronauts dies because of a mysterious illness. As Niko and her young crew investigate, they must face unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission.
