Another week and another mystery. Get your detective hats on as Kellie Martin returns as Hailey Dean to solve a new mystery that threatens her friend. Killer Sentence movie on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries this week continues the Hailey Dean Murder Mysteries franchise as Hailey rushes into danger to save her friend from an accusation that could destroy her career.
Killer Sentence Plot
Killer Sentence movie follows Hailey Dean as she takes up a new investigation to save her DA friend from accusation of killing a paroled prisoner.
Just four months after being paroled for killing his wife, Clayton Morrel’s memoir is coming out, and it has both Hailey Dean and the D.A. she assisted in prosecuting the case, Paulina D’Orazio, more than a bit unnerved. Paulina now feels guilty for accepting a plea of manslaughter instead of holding out for first degree murder, but she didn’t want Morrel to walk free if the jury bought his tale of accidental death.
When Paulina is named the prime suspect in the murder, Hailey and detective Fincher Garland are certain she is innocent and set out to find the real killer in order to exonerate Paulina. When the murder weapon turns up in Paulina’s car, her fate is all but sealed.
But there are others with the motive, means and opportunity to kill Morrel, and using her uncanny ability to read people, Hailey leaves no stone unturned as she works to find the evidence needed to prove someone else is Morrel’s killer.

Based on the characters developed by Nancy Grace, the movie once again follows Hailey Dean and Garlmadn Fincher. Michelle Ricci writes the story with Michael Robison directing the movie.
