If you are a Jane the Virgin fan you will soon hear the voice over from the earlier seasons ring in your ears. The last season’s narrator didn’t have the same effect, and we can only hope that the new season, which is also the final season, will return with the original narrator. Jane the Virgin Season 5 on The CW brings the saga to an end, but promises many twists and turns as we race to the finish line and hope it never ends.

Jane the Virgin Season 5 Plot
Jane the Virgin is no doubt one of the best drama-comedy series of this decade. With suspense, emotional upheavals, and thrills the series has commanded a huge fan following without giving a reason to stop watching the series.
In the busy season 4, we saw the Villaneuva women adjusting to their new realities and celebrating the much awaited successes. Jane, of course, got her book published. Xiomara fought her health problems bravely and finally got back with Rogelio; Alba got her Citezenship and fell is love after decades. But the not everything went their way.
Just when Petra, Jane and Rafael seemed to have arrived at an understanding, Petra was accused of murder she swears she did not commit. Her lawyer ended up shooting someone in the season finale, and we saw Jane once again come face to face with Michael standing in Rafel’s apartment.
In Jane the Virgin Season 5, surprises come at you fast and furious. So get ready for another roller coaster season of the much loved telenovela.

Episode 1
Jane makes a shocking discovery and looks to Rafael for answers but is confused by his decision to put everything he and Jane have on hold. Meanwhile, Petra is trying to secure a future with the hope of it being with JR, but her past might jeopardize everything.
Episode 2
With Jane’s Catholic guilt starting to settle in, she turns to Alba for advice and gets an unexpected answer. Luisa decides to go see Rose with Rafae by her side, in order to help get answers. Meanwhile, Rogelio is back to work with River, but a power struggle ensues between the two and Xo might be the solution they have been looking for.
Episode 3
Jane must get over the newest hurdle in her life, which proves to be harder than she and Rafael would have hoped. Rogelio discovers that he and River (guest star Brooke Shields) are not as equal as he thought. Meanwhile, Jane and Petra must deal with the children not getting along with each other, which in turn brings up issues of how Petra and Jane feel about each other.
