Shots Fired set in North Carolina, is a ten part series that begins this March on Fox TV. The TV show puts the focus on recent cop shootings involving unarmed teenagers. The Drama does not focus on the actual events, but on the furor and the public backlash that follows. However, here the victim is white and the policeman involved is African-American.
The Drama covers most of the race-related issues plaguing the US justice system and touches on almost every aspect of it, from school reform to the skewed black population ratio in American prisons. The drama also covers the fear and anxiety of people who get pulled over by the cops, as well as cops who must face the danger of being shot at every day.

Shots Fired Story
Shots Fired story revolves around the Justice Department investigator and the those involved in the incident. The Drama opens with a shooting of a white man by an African-American cop. However this is not the first or only incident of involvement of the police in shooting of an unarmed man. The justice department sends a prosecutor and an investigator to look into the shooting. The prosecutor and the lead investigator are both African-American investigating an African-American cop.
As the investigation proceeds, they uncover other similar crimes involving young African-American victims and a deep rooted conspiracy that spans the entire town of Gate Station. As the investigation proceeds, new information comes to light the builds the intensity and suspense in the story.
