Saat Uchakkey music is composed by Abhishek Ray who has been music director for Paan Singh Tomar and Welcome Back, which were not big on soundtrack. The movie is scheduled to release in October 2016. The film is about seven crooks in old Delhi and their life on streets.

The album has various contributing artists and the songs stick to the mood and tone of the movie. So there is not a lot of stress on creating melodious songs and it is not the album that you will play out of the movie context. Kumaar has once again written lyrics that are situational and local, yet not abrasive or vulgar and shown his ability to write for a wide range of situations.
Qawwali makes an appearance after a long time with Husn Wale Farebi composed by Niranjan-Saket. The song sticks to the Qawwali genre, but does not impress enough for you to go back to the song. However, Amir Khusro’s Chaap Tilak sung by Kirti Sagathia is fresh enough to hook you on and is the only song you might listen to more than once, from this album.
Movie Recipe Verdict: An average album that gels with the movie theme, but does not make an impact.
