Phillauri Music Review
The album is a good blend of folk music and contemporary music. The songs are melodious and not too harsh to your ears. The folksy tunes capture the flavor of rural Punjab and transport you to a time and place that you rarely feel in average Bollywood music. If Sahiba takes you to the fields of Punjab, Din Shagn Da places you right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a house in preparation of a wedding.
I am not a fan of Bollywood Hip-Hop music. And although Naughty Billo fails to give lyrics that rhyme, the song has a nice Hip-Hop rhythm going that will make you go back to the track. This one would definitely make it to your playlist.
Of the many Dum Dum versions, the Punjabi version comes with an easy rhythm that is a balance between the first Brass Band version and the reprise version.
