When a loved one goes missing suddenly, they leave a ton of questions behind. And for a lover it is more a question of if they left on their own or is there a sinister motive behind their disappearance. Set int he near future in Berlin, Mute movie on Netflix follows a mute bar tender Leo as he goes on a mission to find his missing girlfriend.

Mute Movie Plot
Mute movie is set in the near future in Berlin some 40 years from now, which is not very different than our world, and that is what makes it more scary. Leo is who is unable to speak since a childhood accident is a worried man. The love of his life and girlfriend has gone missing and he desperately searches her in frenzied plazas and the dark streets of the city.
As he goes on the hunt to find any clue or information about where his girlfriend could have gone, he recurrently comes across two US army surgeons – cactus Bill and Duck. Liek they say in the spy movies if you see someone too frequently, they are either following you or have to so something with your search.
Could these to surgeons have something to do with Leo’s missing girlfriend? or is she a bait to get leao into a trap?
