After a somewhat dismal performance of Half Girfriend, Arjun Kapoor is back in a new avatar and a double role in the movie Mubarakan. The Mubarakan trailer is crisp and one of the few comedy movie trailers this year that actually make you smile. Also starring Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty, Mubarakan is produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Ashwin Varde and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios. Helmed by Anees Bazmee, Mubarakan is slated for a worldwide release on 28th July 2017.
So we have Arjun Kapoor as twins Karan and Charan. It seems like good boy and bad boy game is on here. They are obviously being coerced by their family to get married, and Charan does want to get married, however not to the one the family has chosen for him. Cahran and Binkle on the other hand are in love. Confusion will be the key to this situational comedy set in England and both Arjun Kappor adn Anil Kappor seem to have got their comic timing right.
