There was a time when Marathi movies were mostly based on social issues and causes. Mr. & Mrs. Unwanted movie trailer reminds you of that style of cinema from the 80s and 90s. The movie has already gained some rave reviews from critics at several film festivals. Mr. & Mrs. Unwanted takes a peek into the lives of a busy, urban couple and their dilemmas about domestic decisions and childbirth.
Mr. & Mrs. Unwanted is scheduled to release on 23rd September 2016. The movie revolves around these two characters and these are the only two faces you will see for most of the two hours of the movie. This will be Rajendra Shisatkar’s first movie as as the lead star. But if performances in the trailer are any indications, the audience are in for a treat.

Riya and Rajesh is a happy couple living in their friend’s house in Mumbai. Like all couples, the decision to bring a child in their lives is at the top of their minds. Rajesh doesn’t think that they are ready for a child. Riya is open to consider childbirth. But this indecision and difference of opinion leads to Riya having to terminate her pregnancy. Their disagreements further flare up as Rajesh denies to use protection and makes Riya go thorough the whole process multiple times. The situation is further complicated when Riya, later denies to bear a child as it might affect her career and professional life.
Mr. & Mrs. Unwanted is the story of Rajesh, Riya, and the unborn child. It is the story of every couple who is fighting to balance their professional aspirations with their personal goals and desires.
