Change is hard. Letting go what we love and doing things against our wishes is harder. But we live in times where change is happening at a break-neck speed, whether we like it or not. Frozen in Love Movie Plot
Frozen in Love movie revolves around Mary and Adam. Mary Campbell (Rachael Leigh Cook) is a studiously cute bookworm, an uptight and buttoneddown bookstore owner, facing the grim reality of her quaint but stagnant Denver store, formerly run by her retired parents, closing its doors forever. Her brother Tyler (Madison Smith), the gregarious opposite of Mary, wants her to implement current ideas like podcasts and interactive technology.
Though traditionalist Mary believes the bookstore has survived by being something it is rather than trying to be something it’s not, she reluctantly agrees to seek some PR help to turn things around and get the bookstore out of the red.
At the same time, the handsomely wild, flashy “live-in-the-moment” Denver Royals hockey star Adam Clayborn (Niall Matter) is suspended by Erica (Tammy Gillis), the current president of the team (whom he dated years prior), for 10 games for repeatedly sparring with the referee and being consequently ejected, and is subsequently sent to the same PR firm to help fix his reputation.
The PR plan is simple: pair him with someone in the community who is well-liked, who will balance him out, get him involved in local activities and do some volunteer work generating some positive press. Mary’s bookstore sponsors the local youth hockey team, which Adam begrudgingly coaches.
When the two meet the young players on an outdoor ice rink, they quickly find themselves bickering and bantering: he calls her impossible, she calls him intractable – and the press takes note; this tack isn’t helping either one of them.
