Friends From College Summary

Past, or what you can remember of it can be complicated. Friends From College revolves around six friends – Ethan, Lisa, Sam, Nick, Max, and Marianne – who are reconnecting in New York, 20 years after graduation. Now in their forties, they are staring down the most dreadful time in their lives. Not all dreams come true and not all fail-proof plans work out. Years later they have all had some successes and some failures in their professional and domestic lives. The series explores their interwoven and complicated college life at Harvard as they try to balance the goof-ups and the mess in the past with their longing for the college days, in the present.

Friends From College Reviews

The new TV series has received mixed reviews from the critics who found it somewhat funny, but think that is a fleeting experience.

“The content is way too R-rated to be compared to “Friends,” but these six reluctant adults could hang out with a latter-day Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, Joey and Ross and find common ground.” ~ Julie Hinds, Detroit Free Press

“Friends from College does cover a lot of ground in four hours but it’s not the kind of territory that you’d really want to investigate.” ~ Bruce R. Miller, The Sioux City Journal
