Dhai Kilo Prem serial is the latest offering by Star Plus in the afternoon Primetime slot. The new desi serial is a Romance-Drama and tells the the story of two overweight people and how their body type influences their decisions and their world. The promo looks promising with Meherzan Mazda (@meherzanmazda) playing the role of Piyush and Anjali Anand (@anjalidineshanand) as Deepika opposite him.
Dhail Kilo Prem serial is set in Agra. What better place can there be to talk about love and romance. Star Plus is coming up with a slew of new Hindi TV shows in the afternoon slot. We have heard that the channel is also working on an adaptation of the superhit Zee Zindagi serial Fatmagul. So TV viewers are certainly in for an exciting 2017.
Mehrezan Mazda was last seen in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, which was much different than this new serial. Dhai Kilo Prem serial will also be Anjali Anand’s commercial debut in a TV serial after her work as Shikha in the Voot original web series, Untag.

Dhai Kilo Prem Serial Story
Dhai Kilo Prem serial story revolves around the lives of Piyush and Deepika. Piyush is overweight, but he ants a wife who is as skinny and beautiful as Deepika Padukone. On the other hand, we have Deepika who knows that she is overweight, bu is at peace with that. She knows she has a heart that is as big as her body and hope to find a life partner who is equally grand and openhearted.
There is something between them that connects them beyond their body type. But they are also a couple with opposites. He loves food that is not spicy, while she likes it hot. Will their different likes and dislikes keep them aart, or will the opposites attract?
Dhai Kilo Prem will go on air from 3rd April 2017 and will be telecast Mon-Sat at 2 O’Clock in the afternoon.
