For all the cribbing about privacy that we do, posting on social media sites publicly has exploded in the last few years. And the competition to get more likes and be the center of attention has also invited predators who hang in the background tracking your every move. You TV Show on Lifetime brings us a psychological thriller that shows us how easy it has become to attract unwanted attention on social media.

The new series is based on the book of the same name by Caroline Kepnes. Lee Toland Krieger directs the pilot episode of the series with Penn Badgley and Elizabeth Lail in the lead roles. The first season of You premieres on September 9 2018 with ten episodes, an is already picked up for a second season.

You TV Show plot revolves around bookstore manager Joe Goldberg. Joe is a brilliant manager who loves books and is in the just right place. One day, he crosses paths with Guinevere Beck and aspiring, talented writer and he thinks it is love at first sight and meant to be.
To get close to her, Joe begins to look into her life through social media networks and pieces together her entire life. His initial infatuation soon becomes an obsession and he embarks on a path of no return. To win his lady love, Joe soon begins to remove everything and everyone he thinks stands between them.
Will Guinevere find out Joe’s true face in time and be able to protect herself. Or will she fall for his charms and realize the truth when its too late to run?
