In the tradition of true crime format, Netflix brings a partially scripted Wormwood TV Series. Part scripted and fiction and part snippets of interviews and accounts drawn for real document, the new docu series looks into the death of Frank Olson in New York in 1953 and the associated conspiracy theories and involvement of the CIA in the whole thing.

Wormwood TV Series Plot
It all began nearly six decades ago when bio scientist Frank Olson jumped from the window of his hotel in New York. His persistent later found out the the CIA had been giving him LSD as part of their secret experiments on mind control and brainwashing.
The Olson later get the details of the experiment along with a statement of activities from CIA explaing the chain of events. Olsons also became the first to get an apology from the President and a settlement of &75,000. However, Eric still had many questions left unanswered. This led Eric to exhume Frank’s body for forensic evaluation in 1994, which revealed blow to the head prior to the fall as the reason for death and established that the fall was in fact to cover up the murder of Frank Olson.
Th six-part Wormwood TV series explores the limits of our knowledge about the past and the lengths we’ll go in our search for the truth. A family story of one man’s sixty-year quest to identify the circumstances of his father’s mysterious death. A quest which brings him face-to-face with some of the darkest secrets of the United States.
