Winter in Vail Movie Plot
Winter in Vail movie follows Chelsea as she travels to a small town and decides to make it her home and settle down.
Los Angeles-based event planner Chelsea Whitmore has been hoping for a hard-earned promotion to Vice President of Events Development at Elegant Events. However, her hopes are dashed when her boss asks her to mentor the outside hire who gets the job instead.
Disappointed about losing the promotion and feeling ready for a change, Chelsea quits her job and heads to Colorado, to claim the deed her uncle has left her.
There, she has a brief skirmish with Owen who later turns out to be the previous contractor for the Chalet she is renovating. Owen gets to work on the chalet then invites her to join him for snow-tubing that afternoon, and they begin to get to know each other.
Through Owen’s dad, Chelsea discovers new sides of her uncle – that he had been proud of her and that his strudel recipe was a town favorite. Owen helps Chelsea line up establishments to participate in the event, a street fair with music, dancing, food and – of course – a strudel competition.
Strudelfest turns into a huge success that generates terrific business for the Village businesses and especially the Edelweiss. Now completely in love with Vail, Chelsea will have to choose between returning to Los Angeles and her fast-paced career or remaining in the place she has grown to call home and finding out where this budding romance might lead.
