The Willoughbys Netflix movie is the new comedy animation drama that will take you on hilarious journey as we look at family dynamics from a different perspective. Family’s are expected to be in synch with each other and even if they are not, the least you expect is that they love and care for each other. But not all are like that.
The Willoughbys Plot
‘The Willoughbys’ movie follows the family kids as they plot sending their parents away, but then realize the true meaning of family.
The Willoughby parents are no angels. Although they love their children they are also self-absorbed and often forget their duties as parents. Once deeply in love with each other, now, they are more self engrossed that ever.
They twirl each other around every evening in gloves and three-piece suits, too love-struck and self-centered to give their kids proper attention.
But the kids aren’t easy either. As the friction between the two groups gets too much to bear, the siblings plan a solution. Instead of running away from home, frustrated siblings Tim, Jane and the Barnabys use their ingenuity to achieve independence.
Convinced they’d be better off raising themselves, the Willoughby children hatch a sneaky plan to send their selfish parents on vacation. The siblings then embark on their own high-flying adventure to find the true meaning of family.

Based on the 2008 children’s novel by Lois Lowry, the movie brings to life this quirky eccentric family that does not fit the usual mold. Kris Pearn directs the movie that premiers on April 22 2020.
