Women have been looked down upon throughout history when it comes to any professional work. When it comes to the world of crime and using physical force with brutality, women bosses are more or less never make the cut. In Widows movie, we get a tale of four women who are forced into a partnership to deal with the debts of their criminal husbands, and decide to turn the tables on their tormentors.

Widows Movie Plot
Widows movie is set in current times Chicago and follows four women drawn into the dark criminal world after the sudden death of their husbands in a robbery gone wrong.
Veronica is married to Harry Rawlins. Their marriage is already in shambles after a tragic death in the family tears them apart, but it is also something that keeps them together. Left with nothing to go one in life, Veronica decides to finish what her husband started. She goes on to employ the widows of the other men involved with Harry in the heist and secure her financial future.
Linda runs a dress shop and was married young and pregnant. Naive and weak, she decides to go along with Veronica in spite of her reservations.
Alice, a Polish immigrant is married to Florek, a controlled and sheltered of the four. We see her transform from being someone who has accepted what the world tells her she is – a daughter and then she’s a wife – to a woman taking control of her life.
Bell, a hairdresser and a single mother, is smart and fearless. She joins the women as soon as she hear Veronica. We see these four women from different racial, social and financial backgrounds come together to achieve their common goal as they understood that by working together they are capable of anything.
